Cyber Response Systems is a four-person managed service provider. We look after the computers, the network and the security of organizations that cannot justify an IT department and cannot afford to go without one.
How we got here
For six years we were the subcontractor. When a provider had a client with ransomware on a Saturday, a mail server that had quietly been relaying spam for a month, or a departed administrator who still had the keys, we were the number they rang.
After enough of those weekends the pattern was hard to ignore. Almost none of it was sophisticated. It was an unpatched firewall, a shared password, a backup nobody had ever restored. The expensive emergency was nearly always a cheap chore that had been skipped.
So we stopped cleaning up after other people's clients and took on our own. We do the boring chores on schedule, we watch for the things that still get through, and when something does go wrong the person who calls you is someone you have already met.
How we work
There is no tier one. The analyst who knows your network is the one who picks up, and you have their mobile number.
Every change, every incident and every recommendation is written down in words your insurer and your board can both read.
Incident response is inside the monthly rate. We will never quote you for help while the building is still burning.

Incident response
The calm voice at 3am. Has rebuilt more domain controllers over a weekend than he would like to count.
Audits and compliance
Turns insurance questionnaires and framework checklists into a list of things you can actually do this quarter.
Service desk
New laptops, lost passwords, the printer. Patient in a way the rest of us are still learning.
They told us we did not need half of what the last company sold us. Then they showed us the half we did need and had never had.
Practice manager, twelve-person dental group
The first conversation is an hour, it is free, and the most common outcome is a short list of things you can fix yourself.
